Project Description

15 years after it was built, CBSO Centre is undergoing an ‘upgrade and refresh’ project of £2m covering work in 5 distinct areas:

• Internal works to the foyer, bar area and kitchen (including new lift installation);
• Works within the main hall (lighting & acoustic improvements, and new seating);
• External works to the building fabric including roof repairs and replacement of the window blinds with solar shading on the Holliday Street elevation;
• General energy/climate-related replacements (new office lighting and boilers);
• Other sundry works within the building (e.g. public meeting room upgrades).

We are expecting most of the works to take place during weekday office hours (8am till 6pm) although a small amount of weekend working maybe required.  

The majority of work will be taking place within the building apart from roof repairs, front entrance work and Holliday Street elevation work.
